David Wolfe

David Wolfe, 1941-2023, was a multi-talented high profile paper doll artist, an accomplished writer, acknowledged fashion expert and historian specializing in vintage Hollywood movie costume design. After a long and successful career as a trend forecaster and fashion illustrator, he retired to California where he devoted his time to paper dolls. His subjects include film stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood, fashion icons, and other fashionable subjects. Additionally, David wrote dozens of articles for our paper doll magazines and often dazzled paper doll convention goers as emcee. His talent lives on through his many wonderful paper doll books.
