David Wolfe
David Wolfe is a multi-talented high profile paper doll artist, an accomplished writer, acknowledged fashion expert and historian specializing in vintage Hollywood movie costume design. After a long and successful career as a trend forecaster and fashion illustrator, he is now living in California, where he creates colorful, lavishly detailed, meticulously researched paper doll books exclusively for Jenny Taliadoros’ Paper Studio Press. David chooses as subjects, vintage Hollywood style stories and film stars of the past such as Doris Day, Marlene Dietrich and Ava Gardner as well as icons Jackie Kennedy and Princess Diana. The new books he creates are inspired by the rare and collectible artful treasures of the Golden Age of Hollywood paper dolls.
