Mid-Century marked the influence of the Baby Boomers' demographic and paper dolls acknowledged their importance with many books devoted to adolescents and teens. The grown-up paper dolls of the '50s were very fashion conscious and some reflected the mass movement to the suburbs and casual lifestyles. Glamour was provided by dramatic high fashion paper dolls and a new generation of movie star celebrities.
