Norwegian Bunads Paper Dolls by Alina Kolluri

Bunads are traditional Norwegian costumes worn on festive occasions. Each bunad is local to a particular town or district in Norway, and as many as 200 different designs have been recognized. Women’s bunads are often elaborately embroidered in bright, beautiful colors on dark wool fabric. They are embellished with scarves, shawls, a variety of headdresses, and handmade gold or silver jewelry. This charming paper doll book by Alina Kolluri showcases 25 of the most popular designs.
