PD Review Magazine issue 93 - The Ballet, Joan Fontaine, Grace Darling, More!

  • Model: An extra lovely issue!
This is possibly our loveliest issue ever! Beautiful costumes and elegantly posed paper dolls grace the pages throughout the issue. Articles include the Pas de Quatre by Brenda Sneathen Mattox, The Nutcracker by Lorna Thomopoulos, and Jane Rasor highlights six Classical Ballets. Our dress-a-doll ballerina has more than two dozen costumes to enjoy, plus there are numerous ballet inspired paper dolls on display from artists and collectors.

To round out the issue, we have a spotlight on Joan Fontaine. Our guest writer, Rod Labbe, was thrilled to write about his favorite Classic Hollywood star. His knowledge and personal connection with Fontaine provides some interesting reading! Karen Kurtz had quite a journey of discovery on her topic: Victorian heroine Grace Darling, a lighthouse keeper’s daughter who rescued nine people from a shipwreck, and became the subject of paper dolls. There's much more to discover in this extra special edition!
